On May 4^th, Bloomberg Linea published the article, “Millicom: "Before we get enthusiastic, in LatAm we should not speed up with 5G", following her interview with Millicom | Tigo CEO Mauricio Ramos.

Mauricio Ramos makes a grounded analysis of how he sees the implementation of 5G networks in Latin America. In the article he says that the 4G network still does not reach even half of the population in LatAm; the cost of the terminals used for this technology are extremely expensive and in the world there are business cases for the business sector that wants to automate, but there are not yet for mass consumption. Therefore, he hopes that in five years the first steps of the benefits of this network in Latam will be taken.
