Michael Golan (1978), an Israeli citizen, created Golan Telecom in 2010 the 5th Israeli mobile operator at the time. Golan Telecom was sold in 2017. Before that, he joined the Iliad group as Chief Operating Officer and soon became CEO of Iliad, a position he left in 2007.

Mr. Golan is a graduate of ESCP/EAP business school and Paris Dauphine University.

He qualifies as non-independent of the major shareholder (Atlas Luxco) and independent of the Company and its management according to the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, and relevant rules of the Nasdaq Stock Market.

Mr. Golan and his closely related persons do not hold any Millicom shares.
